Julie
Julie received her graduation
certificate from the
Assistant Women's Program Director, Bethany,
for completion of the "New Life" program.
Julie has a 4 year-old daughter and is
thankful
for Agape House. She says the program has changed her life.
She is currently employed as the weekend
monitor at Agape House and has other
part-time employment during the week.
We are thankful for her and the way God
is moving in her life.
 Shelonda
Shelonda received her graduation
certificate from
Agape House Women's Program Director, Beth,
on September 1st for completion of the 12-month
"New Life" program.
Shelonda has found employment and will
be moving
soon. Her feelings are bittersweet as the staff have
become her extended family. She was afraid
to come to the Agape House at first because when
she thought of shelters, she thought of bugs and
uncomfortable, dirty living conditions that she might
encounter with her 8 year-old son. But she soon felt
comfortable as she found their living quarters to be
clean, bug free and spacious. She states
that everyone was very kind and supportive.
We pray God will continue to bless her as she is
now better equipped to face life's challenges.
