Stock Shelves & Cleaning and the Thrift Store
Our thrift store is located at 1928 Arlington Rd. We are currently in need of volunteers to help stock clothing and other items to the sales floor and for general cleaning.
Serve Meals at the Soup Kitchen
Help is currently needed to serve meals at Gino's Cafeteria from 4-5pm on Tues, Wed. or Thurs.
Evening Attendant at the Women's Shelter
Oversee the guests from 5-10pm on Monday, Wednesday or Fridays at the "Agape House" women's shelter.
We would like the volunteer to pick one night of the week they could consistently be there on a weekly basis.
Training would include: becoming familiar with house rules and schedules, making sure they are adhered to and providing a positive and encouraging environment.
Evening Chaplain at the Men's Shelter
We need your help from 5-10pm on Fridays and the evening of the last Saturday of each month.
We would like the "Upper Room" men's Chaplain volunteer to commit to Friday evening of each week (5-10pm).
Duties could consist of: overseeing and assisting the oversight of guests, becoming familiar with house rules and schedules, making sure they are adhered to and providing a positive and encouraging environment.
Intakes with guests and being able to lead Chaplain service.
