James Goodson

I began my ministry in Tucson, Arizona in 1956. Some of my earliest opportunities for service were with the rescue missions in Tucson. Those early experiences of being with the hungry and homeless as well as some childhood memories, instilled a sensitivity for the needy that expressed itself throughout my 53 year ministry.

As a Bloomington resident, I sought ways to continue my ministry. I became aware of Backstreet Missions, Inc. when I took some items to the Thrift Store. Lataer I learned more about the Mission through the church I attended. The more I learned about Backstreet, the more impressed I was with the scope of their ministry.

I am priveleged to work with the Mission leaders and the Board.
