Who
We Help
You
may be surprised to learn that most of the homeless and those in
need of our services are genuinely good people who have fallen on
hard times. Especially in today's economy.
|
At Backstreet
Mission, the most common reasons that guests seek our services are:
Unemployment
Illness
Domestic Violence
Marital break-up
Drug and alcohol use
We are here to
help when unfortunate circumstances of life affect the people of our
community.
Below is a
chart that illustrates who we help on a national basis and how Backstreet Missions' compare
to the national statistics.
